Astrantia

Astrantia, otherwise known as Greater Masterwort may not be the showiest garden flower but it's one of my favourites.  There is something about the subtle colours and its delicate nature that I find very appealing.  I inherited this plant when we bought the house and it's now been moved three times but seems to like its current position facing west.
We have been very grateful for rain today, the first significant rainfall for weeks, I popped out in between showers to capture this for a blip.
