Junior........

We've had a family of Woodpeckers recently, sometimes 3 at once and this is the juvenile who as yet isn't as aware as his parents as to possible dangers.  As regards to landing on the feeder, well he's not confident about always getting it right first time, so his modus operandi is to land in the Rhododendron bush and then it's only a quick hop onto the feeder.

I loved seeing your entries to the WidWed challenge this week, there were many different ways to interpret colourful and they were all well represented.  It's a pleasure to be able to choose who gets Hrts and HMs but it also involves much to-ing and fro-ing as I try to come to a decision.  Below, in no particular order are my choices.
