Braving the Elements

Wintry showers today but Cyclamen coum is finally getting into its' stride. Last winter the first flush of flowers came in December but this time around they have waited for February .... well almost, there were a few earlier this week. The best is yet to come though!

Cyclamen coum is the hardiest of the winter fowering cyclamen. Its' dumpy flowers may only be small but en-masse they make a bright splash of colour in the winter garden.
