Fluff

This little ball of fluff is just one of the many new Sparrows in our garden. We have also been watching the young Goldfinches being fed - a young one in extras.

We had been wondering where all the Blue Tits had gone, as there are usually quite a few around and we know they have been nesting. They seemed to disappear. Then a neighbour said she had seen lots of them in the trees in the Ghyll. The young were on branches being fed insects by the adults. She said she kept passing groups of them. So that's where they went.

On Thursday evening we held our Village Book Group on Zoom. Ten of us and all had read and loved the book - that hasn't happened before. The book was 'Prodigal Summer' by Barbara Kingsolver. I recommend it.
