Poppies

I was out early this morning to join the queue at a local supermarket  just as it opened.  The sun was out but it was rather chilly and windy.  As I left the queues had vanished and I looked across the estuary to see several wind surfers dashing across the water in the breeze.  I had no camera with me so continued on back home.  

The weather quickly changed into a cold grey day and I spent a short time on the allotment, where these poppies flourish on a nearby plot, before making a couple of sourdough loaves back home. Managed to catch up with a few friends later in the evening which was nice.
