Dancing at a Distance

Lying in the water, cooling gently in the evening sunlight, she became aware of the presence of others above her and the sound of dance music wafted across the scented air to her lowly position.  The elegantly beautiful couple posed gracefully,  silhouetted in the evening light and everything else faded into insignificance.  All that remained was beauty, perfume, grace and the pervasive gentleness of a single violin swaying to the rhythm of the bodies...
