The hockey match

This afternoon I watched my son play hockey. There was an icy cold wind but the game was so exciting that I could not go indoors to the warmth in case I missed a goal! Nowadays it is such a super fast game, the ball flies over the astro pitch and the players have to be very fit to keep up - unlike my school days when the ball rolled along thick grassy pitches.

It was difficult deciding on a photo today, but I liked this one as I felt it conveyed the speed and energy of the game. (The player in focus is my son)
