Winter trees

A beautiful sunny day, with a whispy clouds in the sky. Maybe this is the calm before the big freeze that has been talked about for February - I hope not! It is so wonderful to see the days getting longer and the snowdrops popping up.

We went out for Sunday lunch at a pub, and now we are home again relaxing. Luke is catching up on sleep after going out last night, and Gavin is trying to get through his course work for the Yachtmasters course, and regretting that he decided to do this now when he is busy at work, but our summer holiday plans involve sailing and he really wants the theory qualification before then....that is after he ran 27 kilometres this morning in preparation for the London Marathon in April. And yes it is exhausting living with him...makes me feel guilty when I want to slonk around.
