black lives matter

This afternoon in Dumfries there was a Black Lives Matter protest. Not a march, but a gathering of people 2m apart at the Midsteeple. I wanted to go, and I wanted to take photographs of the event, but as I have been strictly adhering to the lockdown rules and this, however safe it might have been, would have contravened them, so I decided to Stay At Home.

Instead of going to the protest, I spent the time sewing this patch, which is going to be part of a big banner made in Dumfries, remembering victims of police brutality.
