Early but worth it.
Last morning here in the hilltop house. Even if we've only been here a weekend, it's felt like a real break... 20 miles or so from home but a real getaway. The last few weeks or so in lockdown [le confinement] have been quiet but even so, it was wonderful to get away from home and experience yet another level of peace and quiet! 
Or maybe that was just the lack of housework, gardening and everyday stuff!
Our stay here was a lovely gift from a friend, but I think we might be back later in the year, even if we have to pay next time. Views like this and the sheer peacefulness would be worth every centime!
