MEGA

The newest art gallery in the country opened today with an innovative display of local art from several talented mini neighbours.  MEGA (Moor Edge Gallery of Art) is set to rival New York's MOMA,  in celebration of National Children's Art Week.  

Mary has long wished for a dragon to train, so it is no surprise that she has chosen to loan the gallery one of her dragon pieces, much sought after in the magical world.  Wilf tells me he is going through his early expressionist phase and has dedicated his contribution to his 'Monster Mummy'.  Kara, a young artist with an ongoing concern about the environment and a love of nature, has given us her vision of the planet.  Elsie, known far and wide (well on Moor Edge!) for her use of vibrant colour and great dancing skills, selected her glorious capture of a chicken from her extensive painting collection for display in the gallery.  Whilst the final member of our MEGA group, Leah, has donated a painting which reflects our time and hope for the future, capturing a vivid rainbow and smiley faces.
