Poppy

Quite a productive day in one way or another. Made a big pot of French lentil soup (it's chilly enough to need something warming for lunch!), amended the grocery order, and put supports in place for the two new(ish) clematis, among other things.

In the evening, a walk up to the Common with MrM. We didn't leave the flat until after 8.30pm, as he had a Zoom music session with friends earlier on, so by the time we got there the light was beginning to fade. Since we were there last week the vegetation has shot up and, after the recent rain, it all looks very lush. Two contenders for Blip - the poppy, and a foxglove taken with flash (extra).

A definite chill in the air as we walked back down the hill - more like November than June. Glad we'd decided to wear our winter jackets!
