Messing about by the water's edge

My first visit to a garden centre today. Met L in the car park and we followed the arrows through the shop and out into plant area.  Not a huge variety but enough choice for me ... I bought a pink astilbe and a fuschia which are destined to fill a very empty spot near my gate.

Plants put in the boot and we walked up through the park to the pond where we found an empty bench ...... coffee time!
Plenty of folk of all ages enjoying a walk. Children watching the ducklings and cygnets, playing with a remote control boat,
catching pond creatures in a net and generally having a great time. Social distancing was a bit questionable but folk did try.
