Major Surgery

The tree surgeons were busy today removing all of our sick elm tree’s arms and legs. They’ll be back in a couple of weeks to fell the trunk. A really sad sight but I was pleasantly surprised when I nipped out to investigate because it’s not the tree I was expecting. The much bigger elm nearby has abseiling ropes running high into its canopy so I’d thought that was the one they’d been inspecting and had condemned. Got to be happy it wasn’t!
