Leper

The Leper Church of Saint Mary Magdalene. Apparently. I don’t think I’ve ever blipped this before despite it being in a fairly prominent spot between the river meadows and one of Cambridge’s main arteries.

I almost forewent a walk as I was tinkering with a budget and wanted to break the back of it. Then I decided it’s better to be out walking and for night to fall than to have no walk at all. There’s something great about leaving the house after wrapping up work for the day and having no set agenda, as this is a sensation I’ve felt more in lockdown. In normal times we’re bound by schedules and appointments, even in the evenings. The flexible walking agenda was adhered to, until it got bloody cold and I retreated my steps.
