A Larger Boxwood.....

4 years ago I grabbed this little guy off the for sale table.  I have let it grow, with very little work.    Today I gave it a trim and a thinning.  It is growing up nicely.  The primary branches are well established now.  There are beautiful roots at the bottom that are growing into Nabari, roots above the ground that will develop bark.  I still need to go inside the tree and thin out the leaves.   The sun can't reach inside to encourage growth.
   But that will be a job for another day.  It needs repotting, the secondary's need to develop, and I am waiting for a new apex to  develop.
