Garden colour

Some planted - the pink Escallonia which seems to thrive here - and the wild yellow iris - which likewise thrive and are prime Corncrake habitat although sadly not in our garden.
A week ago I bemoaned the lack of colour but today looking around realised that there was plenty, albeit some there from the wild.
The fish van came to the isles for the first time since lockdown today so off we trotted and took the opportuntiy to stretch our, and more importantly Ruadh's, legs on Baleshare on the return journey.
Pleasant enough in the evening to sit outside with a glass of wine.  Summer again.
