Changing the world, starts on our street.

Just sitting here tonight listening to police and fire radio in St. Paul Minnesota. Police being called to situations, calling back for help. Fires to put out.

The pain in those American cities and towns is so real. People from all sides crying out for justice.

We work for it and try to see it done but justice seems so difficult to achieve. Always has been. History is full of people crying out for justice. Even for David in the Psalms it’s a big theme.

That doesn’t mean we don’t work for it and seek justice where we can. But some days it just feels so elusive. So hopeless.

So we don’t give up. We keep working to make a difference in the places we live, with those who live near us. Our neigbours.

That’s how our world is changed, by making a difference right on our street.
