A bit of a grey day, occasional rain. Harrummph. I spent a bit of time corresponding with Mgt Wright who runs Gatehouse-Folk about the old family - sending her pictures; in return she’s finally completed the Crosbie family tree so I did a bit of proof reading and correcting. I hope someone maintains her site once she hangs up her boots, rather like that Edinphoto site which contains a vast amount of info but which is all the work of one wonderfully obsessed individual. 
In the afternoon we decided to close the shutters and enjoy a movie. Game Night (2108) - enjoyable nonsense with some real laugh out loud moments. Perfect. 

What else? Everything is a bit febrile, or does living the virtual life amplify that? The WMPS debated the current fad for throwing the statues of out of favour people into the drook. ProfT is increasingly nervous about his forebear’s likeness on Princes St after the attacks on Dundas’s statue. Fear not, he was a good’un. A publisher and Liberal MP. Though once we scrutinise exactly what he published, we may find that not all of it suits current tastes, of course...
