Friendship of Strangers

A day of admin and mostly pottering. The admin was going quite well until I came across the reminder that our broadband contract was about to expire, at which point the cost would almost double. Thought it would be a quick and easy job to sign up for a new contract 'deal' on-line, and so it would have been had the on-line form worked. But on clicking the 'submit' button, it just came up with "Oops! Try again later." Several attempts later, I gave it up as a bad job and phoned the company instead. After the inevitable waiting in a queue for 30mins, I spent another 30 mins on the phone talking with a very helpful lady, who signed us up for an excellent deal! Worth the time and hassle, but took half the afternoon!

More heavy rain this evening, so MrM and I both opted to exercise on the bike rather than braving the weather. So it's another photo from the 'yard, taken just before the rain started - a flower on the climbing rose 'Friendship of Strangers.' Its peach coloured buds turn in to creamy white, slightly scented flowers, which the bees love!
