Cosmic Stella d'Oro

This daylily looked bright against our driveway, which was scattered with little pebbles. 

A beautiful day, ushered in by thunderstorms and a great deal of rain over the past couple days. W. and I walked through Digges Valley this evening after dinner, and the air was so clear. The wheat harvest is beginning, much earlier than what I'm used to in Washington State where quite a few of my family members are farmers.
