Digitalis purpurea

We were surprised to find this clump of foxgloves growing alongside a track that we often walk along because we hadn’t noticed them before.
Another day of living in this new normal , whatever that might mean . We managed some SD time with Jess and Arthur plus a video call with the  Chesterfield family - we spent time waving and grinning at Florence  and then , after checking the weather forecast arranged A garden visit for next week when we will do more grinning and waving at Florence.
We were in our local Lidl by 8 am this morning , not  a pleasant experience as there is no system in place that encourages SD so it’s a case of everyone following their own rules !!!
Went online to shop , bought books from a company that donates to a local bookshop of your choice ( Hive books) as we are trying to avoid Amazon and then tried to buy an eco camping toilet. Found one with good reviews but had none in stock so will ring tomorrow and see if there is a waiting list . I’ve heard that campsites are opening on July 4th and am thinking that it would be a way to see the wider family and my dad .
That’s the total sum of today’s exciting events .
Hope anyone reading this has had a peaceful day .
