Sgwarnog: In the Field

Murk

Today's big lockdown reveal is that 15yo has grown past me during lockdown. Although I've been meeting up with the kids in outdoor contexts for a while now today was the first time since March that they came over for a bit. We had hugs and tea and games of Perudo and Cockroach Poker, which was possibly more cognitive load than I was prepared for after a fairly intense work day, but it was good fun.

I had an evening walk in the mizzle and murk, down to Tong Park, through Spring Woods and the Low Springs pastures. I saw a deer in the woods and met a couple of Kestrel along the way, along with rabbits and squirrels.

This image captures the atmosphere, complete with rain drop on the lens.
