Church History In Scotland

Thomas Chalmers

This is the interior of small country church, now disused. The Building is listed as Grade A which means it is of National Importance.

The link above is the key to the National Importance factor.

Architecturally the only important feature is the pulpit which is the subject of today’s Blipfoto.

Thomas Chalmers preached from this pulpit for several years and also had a day job at St Andrews University.

This entry is delayed by a couple of days, as Pat and I have been cogitating just how we can convert this building into a house.

Interestingly, one of the ministers who tended this congregation was Cliff Strong who introduced me to ACIM.

Also, interestingly, one of my middle names is Chalmers.
