Dock 9

We have to book the swim sessions at the moment due to this flippin’ virus so that there are only a certain number of swimmers in our allotted hour in the dock. We are allowed access at our time and have to be swim ready and just drop our bags off and enter the water in a socially distanced manner. We then swim and have to have left the swim zone as our hour is up. There are no changing facilities and everyone just gets dressed in the car park.

I met up with Victoria and we swam together for a couple of laps of the dock. The sun was shining and it was glorious. Victoria has just treated herself to a GoPro so we took a few pics and videos. Then we sat in the sunshine and caught up with Lou as haven’t seen her for over two months.

I don’t bother getting dressed as I just put my dry robe on, but Victoria travels further and so she made a makeshift changing cubicle with a shower curtain pinned on her open car door....very practical and very funny at the same time. We then drove to the top of the car park to take a few shots.

It was a fabulous way to start the day.
