Everywhere we look

Everywhere we look, there are reminders of God.
Of His goodness.
His limitless creativity.
His patience with us.
His faithfulness towards us.
His majesty, His awesomeness.
His intricacy, and attention to detail.

All of creation recognised who He is, and cries out in praise - all except us humans.
Father, may your Kingdom come here. Rescue us from our pride that narrows our vision so dangerously, and robs us of our true freedom.

One thing I’ve loved about London so far, is that there is no shortage of people-watching opportunities. People of all different nations, tribes, tongues, ages, sizes, personalities, gifts, passions. Each a life created in the image of God, known by Him, to the detail of every hair on their head. And every thought before it is even known by them. God chooses to know us.

Father, I want to know you more.

Gratefuls:
1. That God is who He is, and that cannot be changed.
2. Getting to go to KXC livestream with my sister this morning! The warmth of their welcome, even through livestream. Their compassion for the needy.
3. Bible in One Year. How it is wrecking and transforming my worldview in the way I desperately need it to. That we have access to the Truth, and freedom to believe it.
4. Pear crumble!
5. Conversations with Rebekah about anything and everything, from the roots of fears and the meaning of normal, to ridiculous hypothetical scenarios and reminiscing about our childhood. And of course, comfortable silences.
