Framed

I recall watching a YouTube video by Ted Forbes (Art of Photography) on sub-framing in visual composition in which the subject is placed inside a window or some other device that surrounds it. In nature it's not so obvious, but trees and branches can be substituted.

The diamond shaped branch seemed an obvious case in point and I used it to capture the willow leaves with evening light on them.

It was much cooler today and quite windy, so I upped the iso to compensate.
