Turbulent Reflections

After yesterday's "find", I looked for more wave patterns on the lake. It's tough to see the potential when I'm out there, but afterwards, with a bit of playing around I began to see some interesting things.

This frame was just after a boat had passed by, slow enough to disturb the surface, but not a big  wake.

The compressed effect resulted from using a 400mm lens. At this focal length, even at f16, the top and bottom are a bit soft, which I'm happy with in this kind of image.
