Well I’m quite confident that this is shamrock. Given to us some years ago by a dear Irish friend of ours who advised whereabouts in the garden we should plant it and he was right.
Same as yesterday I had to lie on the ground to get the picture and same as yesterday realised that I’m not quite as agile when it comes to getting back up!
All this going on whilst the resident blackbird was hopping around by my elbows looking for cherries from the neighbours tree which seem very small this year albeit I don’t think that they are anywhere near ripe even though quite red. A lot have dropped from the tree and I’m wondering if it’s because we haven’t had much rain at all over the last couple of months.
