Early morning grass head

I had said I would go out this morning with my husband for a local walk, I didn't quite anticipate him waking quite so early.  It was pretty hazy as we set off towards White Bridge and then walked a circle along the back pathway.  The sun was beginning to break through and we waited listening to the sound of several Reed Warblers along the edge of a small water filled ditch.  Eventually we spotted one.  The grasses and a couple of cobwebs were sparkling in the light with the remains of a dew on them still.  We disturbed the Heron which we later saw quietly wading through a patch of inland water.  By the time we reached White Bridge we saw the female Swan with her 5 cygnets, all looking well, as they slowly moved around in the water.  We then walked back home for breakfast.

This afternoon was a short Yoga class followed by some Pilates and then some weeding on the allotment.  Lovely weather today.
