Pelargonium longifolium

Well, maybe!

A species geranium/pelargonium raised from seed, flowering for the first time for me.   The close-up does not show you that it is smaller flowered than the common, garden geraniums of commerce.  A tuberous plant from the Southwest Cape of South Africa, where it grows in sandy fynbos, the leaves are dying back as it flowers and it will go dormant through the hottest months.

Another busy day, this time loaded with admin around moving house.  A good few ticks on the list but plenty more to do.  A late evening walk along the seafront where we met Katie who joined us as we played ball with Meg until it was almost full dark.  A good end to the day :-)

Another Blip blip - I downloaded late last night and failed to notice that the computer dated yesterdays images with today's date.  So the words here relate to Monday 15th June while the entry dated 15th related to Sunday 14th.
