Tiny Tuesday

Not overly original for the challenge - a tea pea-spoon.  The spoon is tiny and I've added the pea for the "vegetable" topic set by Trisharooni.

Both Doug & I feeling tired with sore backs tonight.  A job we don't enjoy is cutting back the lavenders on the bank.  A big job which is half done and hopefully will complete it tomorrow.  Its not just half and dozen plants, but more like hundreds of plants to chomp.

As I said yesterday we shivered through the day with a high of 6° - today in contrast we have sweltered in temperatures reaching 20°.  Crazy !!

For those that said they liked yesterdays photo of what looked like a seascape, in actual fact it was the Sapphire Gin bottle lying on its side.  I love what can be achieved with macro/lensbaby/extension tubes.
Thank you.

Gutted to announce that we have after 24 covid free days, two new cases announced this afternoon.  Two sisters travelled from the UK to see a sick parent (who has since passed away)......it seems that someone within the border control and/or isolation hotel made a bad decision (or succumbed to pressure) to let them travel by car from Auckland to Wellington without being tested.  Oh dear, a setback and I have a strong feeling of being letdown by our authorities.
