The park at Kelso

I’m blipping this because I like it. While waiting for our friend to arrive for our walk I noticed the pretty trees and sky. It was a cool but a lovely sunny morning. The line of yellow trees are not showing their autumn coloured leaves, rather small yellow berries which cover the tree and after falling create a hazard as they are like slippery little hard ball bearings. The tree is an Australian native called Melia azedarach ( commonly called white cedar here but it’s related to the mahogany family). In spring it has nicely scented flowers in white and mauve colours.
