Pearl bordered fritillary

and a Common blue as extra.
Another morning doing things around the house and garden (like making bread and feeding the veg) and then another walk.
We returned to the Mackenzie Meridian but went from the opposite direction which involved more uphill, less heather-bashing, but the same number of miles.
The weather was better, the views were good, but hazy, the path along the top of the crags not too slippery and an abundance of wild flowers.
On the lower sections were butterflies and I was very pleased to be able to get some decent shots of two of them.
