Hydrangea

I've always loved hydrangeas, in part because they remind me of Cape Cod.  They thrive in the sandy soil near the beaches.  There are quite a few at the local gardens here, so I spent some time with them, working with a shallow DOF.  The other reason I concentrated on them today, was their location, away from the crowds.  Given it was a Tuesday morning, I didn't expect the number of people that beat me there.  By staying off the main paths, I was able to keep my distance and take the time I wanted practicing with different camera settings.
