Ouch

No idea if this thing can have been responsible but it was the only thing I could spot in the vicinity.

I was plodding around the garden, phone in hand as I was plugged in to an audio book when I got a really painful bite/sting on my finger. I couldn’t spot the culprit and this was the only thing nearby so it is getting the blame for now.

It was so painful my phone flew across the garden as my hand did a kind of spasm. I dunked my finger in tea tree oil and the swelling is not as bad now.  It is right on the fleshy finger pad so rather sensitive.

Hopefully, whatever critter did it will not be making a return visit. I have spent so much time in the garden during lockdown that maybe I have done well to avoid any more insect attacks!
