Sign of the Times

“We have to fix that fence, there are dogs everywhere.”
“Nah, we’ll put up a sign.”

Ravelston Woods, about a mile from the house and I’d never been there before, probably because the gate always looks locked but it was open today. A paradise for dog walkers and dogs, kids and older kids (going by the leftover evening debris) and footballers. The 5-a-side pitch was open and hootching; obviously the current rules don’t apply here, it’s Ravelston after all.

I really noticed the traffic fumes today, seems like the new normal will soon be the same as the old normal. Pity.
On a more positive note, it was curry for lunch and dahl for tea. Living the dream!
