Blue waxbill...

So lovely to get a photo of a bird for a change!  Its really cold here today and a bit overcast.  I went for a walk late afternoon just to get warmed up (there is no heating in my house here!).  So glad to come across a lot of these blue waxbills but they are very skittish and take off as soon as you approach!  This little guy was busy eating something so I managed to get a shot of him!  They are such pretty little birds!

Have been at the computer most of the day - trying to finish our Child protection policy which was started some months ago but due to the closure of everything was never completed!  So my task this week is to get it to almost completion and send to all the members for corrections!
