Claret

A wander round the garden this morning and I found this rose had broken off its main stem so I decided to bring it in and take some photos. The one on the left I took this morning. SiL Alison texted and said they had put a gazebo up in the garden so if I wanted to go over for a chat we could sit out and it didn't matter if it rained. I did go over and had a lovely couple of hours, it did rain and we didn't get wet. The rose on the right was as it was when  got home after 5pm, I had to take photos. The rose is called Claret. There has just been a storm and a tremendous downpour, I've had enough rain now. I did go out and pick up the treasures and arrived home 2 mins before the storm, I was lucky!
