At the water’s edge.

Stayed in the house and garden until late afternoon. Watched FMQs and read a bit. My wife had a zoom call, younger son at school for a while. A bit flat today, albeit it was a nice afternoon. It happens. Went drove a few miles to the nearby ecopark, plenty of paths and open spaces for walking. I was aware when I took the photo that the yellow flag iris had grown and come into bloom in the time we’ve been away. We ended up speaking to the site director, who I know to see. We talked about the jobs needing doing; he’s one of only 3 at work, dozens of others are furloughed. He said they collected 16 tonne of litter in the last week, compared to a tonne or so early on in the Lockdown - a shameful huge increase, obviously more folks about in Phase 1. And a big increase too since McDonald’s re-opened.

Short Family FaceTime. All well
