Tiger Crane-fly - Nephrotoma flavescens

12°C  -  Feels like 9°C  -  16 mph ENE Wind Speed  -  19 mph Gusts  -  Cloudy.  Shopped in Lidls.  Did some weeding. Cleared some rubbish from the shed.  Noticed a Crane fly sitting on the shed window  -  he must’ve been meditating because he didn’t move when I focussed the camera on him, and was still there when I went in for lunch.  Don’t see them about so much here, but when I was a child I can remember swarms of them  -  we used to call them Daddy Longlegs!
