A Tattered Beauty

Dear Diary,

My pink Weigela bush is in full bloom and how the butterflies love it.  I counted a dozen Swallowtails on it at one point.  This one is looking a bit tattered around the edges but still so beautiful in the morning light.  John and I pruned the bush back quite severely last year and it has come back perfectly.  Matt worked in the horrible heat yesterday and cleaned out in front of the house.  We'll transplant some things in the fall when it is cooler.  Another 95F day today and tomorrow too.  It is draining.
