Flower Friday

I am not sure this picture worked as well as I thought it was going to, anyway it is what I planned for the day. I had committed myself by not really having anything else in reserve. Obviously the background is a blown up version of the foreground flower. In the background it is toned down a bit for contrast.

The day was cloudy, and at times damp, until about 4pm when the sun came out. The sun is still battling with the cloud to see which will dominate.

I managed to pass the place where I was attacked by seagulls yesterday without incident. for the sake of caution I did walk on the opposite side of the road. If they don't like company they shouldn't choose a nest site so close to a road.
