Two By Two

A mooch across to Hyde Park. Not as bright as I was hoping but it's still interesting to see the Royal Parks with few visitors. But heaven knows what the long term holds in terms of upkeep budgets. At the moment staff are out in numbers busily planting up geraniums and it all looks great.

I enjoyed a coffee and cake by the side of the Serpentine and a circuit of Kensington Gardens including a chat with a friendly policeman who was ticking off yet more cyclists who were riding on No Cycling paths.

Particularly heartening were the NHS beds opposite Buckingham Palace - see extra. The sort of thing Danny Boyle might have done at the opening ceremony for the Olympics.

Then back in the drizzle.
