Holidays!

(At home, under restrictions). 

I had a lazy day. I needed it. It has been 12 weeks without a day off. Yes, I only work 4 days a week, but I am no spring chicken. 

Tomorrow I expect to have more energy. 

My mood has been a bit low too. I should have been spending the morning in Rīga, one of my favourite cities, with an Aeroflot flight to Moscow in the afternoon. 

In July 1968 I took my first flight, and it was from Rīga to Moscow with Aeroflot. My plans had been built around re-tracing those steps today.

Well, I had to start my holiday wine about 5pm. It was made the traditional Georgian way in a qvevri, and that gives "white" wine the amber colour. The aroma is of honey, but the wine is dry.
