Two seasons in one day.

Warm morning. M persuaded me to put on the thin summer duvet on the bed for tonight...(which is why it's gone cooler! Lol )

Out in the garden having a good prune of the hedge nearest to our neighbour..  mainly because, despite us having a high wall he still moans if any branch has the temerity to grow towards his yard even if its 9ft above the ground. If he hates trees so much why did he move next to us?? The neighnours at the  back of him also have huge trees.

Anyway we had a good sense of achievement and 3 full bags of greenery.

Took Fletch up to AH grounds for his off lead walk. I had a peer through the windows at the wedding display.. all set for prospective brides to come and look at . It's the only decent place for a wedding in our area so the bookings should come in. I do feel for the many  folk who have had to cancel this year.

We decided to go ahead with getting the  new bathroom. Interest rate in Barclays is now 0.25 percent! Soon  we may as well keep our money in a sock under the bed.. or get the bathroom..Weve lived with a green 50 year old suite for so long.. time for a change.  Sobering thought , the bath we ordered has a 30 year guarantee .. it will most probably outlive us.

Armed with a sample of the door panel (Derwent Blue ) we managed to find a shade of paint to match. .M has already bought the paint despite the fact it will be September before its fitted .

Teatime walk with Fletch was almost wintery. Cold and windy and  more rain Its hard to believe the longest day is almost here..such a difference to this mornings weather!

Blip for Flower Friday ( I remembered what day it was ) is the pelagoniums ( geraniums) planted a year ago and survived the cold of winter and blooming well. The rain makes them sparkle.
