a lifetime burning

A game of skill

These are Dad's carpet bowls.  They are a proper set of real miniature bowls, complete with weight bias that means they curve as they roll. You need a reasonable size carpeted room to be able to play, they are no good on tiled or wooden surfaces.  They are small, whereas adult bowls are the size of a large grapefruit, these are smaller than that, bigger than a lime, perhaps roughly the size of a small lemon.

As children we were only very occasionally allowed to play with them, which is odd really, as they are great fun.  I suspect that Dad was worried about the paintwork of his skirting boards, now that I think about it.

This is Day 7 of the game of hide and seek that my brother Brentastic and I are  are playing.
