Baking Lesson

The girls wanted to give their dad a surprise  afternoon tea treat for Father’s Day with all his favourites.
Rebecca showed them how to do the rubbing in method to make shortbread.
 I made the scones and my special egg mayo sandwich filling.
They put on quite a spread.
Delicious.
Earlier we walked into Skipton and managed to dodge the heavy rain showers.
 l had my first take away flat white in over three months. 
Got it from a little independent who said they were doing a steady trade.
l have so missed a having a really good coffee.
