Fortifications.....

Whilst I was on a zoom call with my hat friend in America discussing linings, our respective husbands were playing, and were caught by us for once finishing early. I discovered M carrying an old door round to ‘the castle’ to construct a ‘non drawing’ drawbridge, and P. found her husband adding in an extra leaf to their dining room table, to expand ‘the battlefield’ for the board game he and her sons were playing.

I also made a gooseberry meringue pie!
