Me 'n' ma Dad. Summer 1973

Today we had a tough but good family cycle out to the Pentlands and back. 35miles! All weather. All home safe. It was for my husband's Father's Day. Too busy cycling hard to catch up with the family to take any pics.

The above was shared on facebook to celebrate my Dad. This is me in the summer of 1973 in my Aunt Marjory's garden. My aunt sent me the photo in Aug 2007, remarking on the similarity between baby me and my baby girl who was new born then.

Happy Father's day to all the complex relationships out there. And acknowledging the sad ones too.
